Tequila Diamonds
New Scientist magazine has published an experiment where scientists were able to create synthetic diamonds from tequila. The tequila was heated under pressure and produced diamond structures able to conduct electricity. The resulting diamond film is tougher than silicon and useful in situations with operating conditions in extreme temperatures.
